F.E.A.R. (First Encounter Assault and Recon) 2005, is an intense first person close-quarters combat experience with rich atmosphere and an engaging storyline. The story begins as an unidentified paramilitary force infiltrates a multi-billion dollar aerospace compound. The government responds by sending in Special Forces, but loses contact as an eerie signal interrupts radio communications. When the interference subsides moments later, the team has been literally torn apart. As part of a classified strike team created to deal with threats no one else can handle, your mission is simple: Eliminate the intruders at any cost. Determine the origin of the signal. Despite the fact that you can still find the save file of F.E.A.R. 3; it won't do much good as the game will still force you to start a new game. But, you can still try it just in case. You save game file is located in the directory listed below.
I think its possible to retrieve your save files, If you are using Windows XP, the directory of the save files of Fear 3 is located to C:Documents and SettingspcusernameApplication DataSKIDROW or when you are using Windows 7/Vista the location of the save files is C:UserspcusernameAppDataLocalSKIDROW.
For this purpose please go to your game installed folder Dstream and select userdata folder here you will find a folder named as local, all of your saved files are placed over here you may have to copy this folder and after re-installation, replace your new folder with this. Now you can play your game from last saved stage.
I know this game is old but I just picked it up new for $15. Anyway, I started playing at a friends house and was unable to download the game update so I started the game anyway and played the first three intervals. When I got home and installed the update on my PS3, it will not load the game save and says it is corrupted.
Unlike past Tomb Raider games, Anniversary stores a player's progress in two separate files: save files and profiles. Save files include Lara's position at the most recent checkpoint, as well as inventory, enemies killed, switches used, etc. Artifacts, Relics, time trials and unlockable content are stored in the player profile. Both file types are available here, and the installation instructions explain how to deal with them.
For the PC game error "Unable to load Profile! Your Progress will not be saved until a profile is selected," try this solution. Once you have fixed the bug, you can download saves and profiles using the links below to pick up the game where you left off.
IMPORTANT: These save files were made using the North American DVD version of the game. As far as I know, they are compatible with most other DVD versions and with the Direct2Drive and Steam downloads. They are not compatible with certain torrent versions of the game.
Anniversary Profiles - A collection of TRAProfile files for each level of the game, with all artifacts and relics found up to that point. No time trials have been done. Info about TRAProfile files and how to use them is included on the instruction page.
Anniversary 100% Completed - A TRAProfile with the game finished, all artifacts and relics found, all time trials done and all cheat codes unlocked. Info about TRAProfile files and how to use them is included on the instruction page.
*CROFT MANOR: The game will autosave as you play in Croft Manor and keep track of any artifacts you've found there (although there are a few potential bugs here in the PC game, which are covered in the walkthrough); however, the only way to transfer progress in Croft Manor from one player to another is by transferring Profile files, not individual save files. The instruction page covers this as well.
As in the Windows version, Anniversary for Mac stores a player's progress in two separate files: save files and profiles. Save files include Lara's position at the most recent checkpoint, as well as inventory, enemies killed, switches used, etc. Artifacts, Relics, time trials and unlockable content are stored in the player profile. Both file types are available here, and the Mac instructions explain how to use them.
USING PC SAVES WITH THE MAC GAME: Many, though not all, of the PC save files (above) will also work with the Macintosh game. You're welcome to experiment with this, though I do recommend backing up your existing saves first, in case anything goes wrong and you have to reload a save from your original game. Profiles made in the Windows PC game generally do not work with the Mac game. That is, they may load, but tend to cause bugs, such as non-functioning grapple points, etc.
The first set of files below were made with the North American (NTSC) format game. These will not work with European (PAL) format consoles. PAL saves follow. If you're not sure which regional format you have, check the country lists on the Wikipedia NTSC and PAL pages.
Because Wii save slots are limited, I have not made a complete set of saves for all checkpoints. The following selection includes saves after every boss fight and many other especially difficult sequences. Each download includes a data file with 4 saves, along with a text file describing the location of each save, plus instructions for transferring the files to the Wii.
Special thanks to Rob B. for his invaluable assistance with the Wii files, to Treeble for braving the time trials to provide the NTSC save with 100% completion, and to Ian N. for PAL format assistance and most of the PAL saves.
Here are a few crucial saves for the Sony PSP game. The first two follow the most difficult boss battles. The third has the game completed. Instructions for transferring the files from PC to PSP are included in each download.
Now, at last, thanks to PSP raider Dave A., here is a collection of saves for the entire game. Again, instructions for transferring the files from PC to PSP are included in each download. All of the following files were made with the North American (NTSC) version of the game.*
*Supposedly PSP games do not have regional encoding, but since some users have reported problems with my first PSP centaur save, which was made with the North American game, I have also included an alternate save made with the U.K. game. The other saves (T. rex, game complete, and the full collection of saves for all levels) were made with the North American game. Special thanks to Jayme and CrystalGecko for the original PSP files and advice, and to Dave A. for taking the time to compile and share his saves from the entire game.
The Game Files category includes saved video game files and files referenced by video games. It also includes game ROMs, which are software copies of games developed for other systems, such as Super Nintendo and Nintendo 64. These files can be played using a software emulator.
4. Now you need to find the folder with F.E.A.R. 3 executable. In the example picture they are located in Binaries / Retail subfolder. You need to extract downloaded x360ce ZIP file to folder with your game executable file.
New Game + is the final slice of free downloadable content for The Witcher 3, but as some of you may already know, the game doesn't do a great job of telling you how to use it. Indeed, in order to start a new game while carrying over your skills, equipment, and non-quest items, you need to follow a few specific steps. These steps make sense when you stop and think about it, but if you're raring to get going on a new adventure, we can see why you may get a tad confused. Fortunately we've detailed the necessary steps below, and hopefully, you'll be hunting monsters all over again in no time.
Step 2: Visit the PlayStation Store and download the New Game + DLC. You can easily find this by visiting The Witcher 3's game page and clicking on 'add-ons'. This should bring up a list of all available DLC, then it's simply a case of clicking on 'New Game +' and hitting 'download'. Fortunately, it's a pretty small download, so it shouldn't take long to finish and automatically install.
Step 3: Start up The Witcher 3 and load your last saved game. This save needs to be from after the main story's ending. Once you've loaded it up, enter the options menu and save your game. This save file can now be used for your New Game +.
Step 4: Quit back to the game's main menu and select 'new game'. From here, select your difficulty level and Witcher 2 save simulation as normal, and then a third option will present itself. When asked if you wish to begin New Game +, select 'ON' and then choose the save file that you wish to use.
For once those of us on the Europe (or Aus) store get it early! We had to wait over a week on some past DLC. Now, if you get confused from not being able to start NG_+ like I did you may need to load up your old save file, save again. Wouldn't let me start a NG+ until I did that.
@Assassinshaggy You have to put all your stuff in the finished save file into a stash box, save again then start NG+. Worked for me (and my stuff was waiting for me in NG+).They really should of made that clear though. 2ff7e9595c
