; It's my first contribution to the prestigious book series 'Dental Pulse'. I have undergone a long and painful journey, in the long perspective of a lifetime, to write this book. Dental pulse is just a small part of a big system. I have tried to explain in a much simpler way the interplay between dental and blood circulatory systems.
The book is divided into three major chapters. I have chosen to present it in three installments because the book is not complete in itself. The first installment is about the dental system. The second one is on blood system, which is a dynamic system. And the last one is on the way in which the dental and blood systems function together. Each chapter is further divided into sub-chapters in which I have tried to explain the underlying concepts by making the clinical point of view.
The use of medical terms and many technical terms is avoided wherever possible to make the book simple and understandable. The book is aimed at the students, undergraduates, and postgraduates who are aspiring to become dentists. I have put more emphasis on the clinical relevance and possible implications of a particular phenomenon.
Since this is my first contribution to this series, I would like to hear the feedback from readers.
